Director of Corporate Relations

Position Description

  • Increase exposure and understanding by the business community for ACAA;

  • Establish corporate partnership policies at ACAA organizational level, and regional and community interest group level;

  • Identify potential strategic corporate partners and work with the ACAA team to communicate and convert these partners;

  • Collaborate with ACAA operational team to set goals and determine organizational needs;

  • Ensure the completion of necessary reports and delivery to the relevant stakeholders;

  • Convey expectations and feedback in a timely manner to ACAA operational team and the Committee;

  • Represent the organization at community and networking events;

  • Maintain excellent relationships with existing account base and expand relationships where possible.


Requirements:

  • Professional business development experience;

  • You have links with university and/or corporate organisations

  • Experience in leading a team is a plus;

  • Average 1-2 hours a week;

  • An action-oriented individual;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated capabilities

  • delivering compelling presentations and proposals;

  • Be a creative thinker and contributor;

  • Have strong self-confidence but also be a team player;

  • Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills required.
