The Australia China Alumni Association (ACAA) was truly honoured to successfully host the Career Development and Social Integration Forum last Saturday at Griffith University’s South Bank campus.

With more than 40,000 members across Australia and China, ACAA is committed to building platforms for students and alumni to learn, grow, and connect through impactful programs and events. This forum gathered students and recent graduates from universities across Queensland to discuss how to plan career pathways, face challenges with resilience, and integrate confidently into Australian society and workplaces.

Inspiring Keynote Speakers
The forum featured three distinguished speakers – Cissy Ma, Moonie Ha, and Fei Wang – who each shared highly inspiring perspectives:
Empowering Change Through Social Practice – combining professional growth with social impact to create broader value.
From Campus to Career – bridging the gap between study and work to identify the right growth pathway.
Know Your Rights, Shape Your Future – essential legal knowledge for living and developing in Australia, helping international students gain confidence and security.
Through their candid stories, the speakers reflected on real challenges they had faced as international students and highlighted success factors such as perseverance, confidence, and resilience. Their experiences resonated deeply with the audience, creating a light yet powerful atmosphere filled with encouragement and inspiration.
Panel Discussion and Interactive Exchange
The program continued with a thought-provoking panel discussion, moderated by ACAA Co-Chair Grace Li, followed by a lively interactive Q&A session. These exchanges allowed participants to engage more deeply with pressing issues around career development and social integration.
The event was warmly emceed by ACAA Co-Chair Sara Cheng, who also closed the forum with heartfelt thanks, reflecting the collaborative and supportive spirit that defines the ACAA community.

Gratitude to Partners and Supporters
We extend our sincere thanks to Griffith University for providing the South Bank campus venue. We are also deeply grateful to The Scanlon Foundation and Australia Pavilion on JD.com for their generous support. It is through such close partnerships that the forum was able to achieve such a positive outcome.
Strengthening the Alumni Community
Beyond a platform for learning and exchange, this forum stood as a testament to the strength of the ACAA community: a network that connects, supports, and inspires across borders.
ACAA will continue to deliver initiatives like this, empowering the next generation of alumni to grow, thrive, and contribute to stronger ties between Australia and China.
