The Australia China Alumni Association welcomes the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Australia and the People’s Republic of China. Australia-China relations have had a profound impact on the societies and development paths of both countries.
2023 will mark the 50th anniversary of the Australia-China education relationship. Hundreds of thousands of Chinese and Australian students have changed their lives through international study in each other’s countries over these five decades.
Since its establishment in 2007, the Australia China Alumni Association with the support of Australia’s universities, is proud to have contributed to the bilateral relationship by building enduring ties to Australia for its 26,000 alumni and international student members through its extensive activities program.
The Australia China Alumni Awards, inaugurated by ACAA in 2009 to highlight the achievements of Chinese graduates of Australian universities, has become one of the most important annual events of the bilateral relationship. The winners of the 14th Australia China Alumni Awards were announced last month.
The Australia China Alumni Association looks forward to building new connections between Australia and China relations in the years to come.
