Reporting directly to the CEO and joining a busy team in a fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will shape and implement Asia Society Australia’s communications strategy and extend the reach, impact and influence of the Asia Society Australia’s world-class content and programs.
We are seeking a hands-on, collaborative and creative team player with a proven track-record of delivery of impactful communications, excellent communications skills, and a ‘can-do’ attitude.
In this role, you will:
Design and deliver multi-channel communications strategies, program and content campaigns to members, subscribers and public using marketing automation software platform (Autopilot)
Oversee, produce and manage digital assets (written, video, graphic, photography, infographics), ensuring they are aligned with Asia Society’s brand and strategy
Supervise, develop and mentor the Digital Content Producer
Advise CEO and other team members on communications strategy, best practice and execution
Manage and oversee website content and design in line with global brand guidelines
Create and oversee the delivery of digital and social media strategies
Manage delivery of the design and production of publications and promotional materials including marketing brochures, newsletters, program collateral, and large-scale event material
Oversee brand and visual identity cohesion, quality and consistent application across all external and internal communications
Coordinate media relations, monitor media coverage and measure media impact.
Drive growth of new audiences for Asia Society Australia through innovative communications strategies
Evaluate and improve policies and procedures that deliver ongoing improvements in communications delivery and contribute to Asia Society Australia ’s “Digital First” strategy
Contribute to Asia Society’s global communication strategies, and work collaboratively with global and Centres’ communications teams to raise a profile of the organisation and deliver effective communication
Other duties as required by the Organisation
The Ideal Candidate:
3 – 5 years or more of relevant work experience in content and communications management in a corporate, academic or not-for-profit setting
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience delivering digital communication campaigns and writing marketing and website copy
Excellent relationship management skills with strong ability to interact with diverse stakeholders
A team player who is creative, enthusiastic, with strong organisational skills, impeccable time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritise tasks efficiently
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
A reliable self-starter and problem-solver who can work independently and in a small-team, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop or Illustrator
Adept at managing the social media portfolio of a busy organisation
Experience in Customer Relationship Management Systems, ideally Salesforce
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Arts, Marketing, or related field
Passion for Asia and international affairs
Personal attributes:
Ability to achieve results within time constraints and conflicting priorities.
Ability to work methodically and with outstanding attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
