Australia China Alumni of the Year Award
This prestigious Award celebrates all-round distinction in work, life and community service and aims to recognize an alumna/alumnus who has demonstrated excellence in her/his professional career and/or through charitable activities.
All nominees for this Award will have established themselves as leaders in their chosen fields, and will also have made significant contributions to strengthening the relationship between Australia and China.
The Australia-China Alumni of the Year Award shall be granted by the Awards judging panel from amongst the nominees for all other Awards.
Australia China Alumni Award for Women in Leadership
This Award is designed to celebrate and honour a woman who leads and inspires others.
Any woman nominated for this Award should have demonstrated a commitment to building links between Australia and China and significant career accomplishments. Alumnae may work in any sector, including business, government, non-profit and academia.
Sydney Stock Exchange -Australia China Alumni Award for Business Achievement
Supported by the Sydney Stock Exchange, this Award celebrates alumni who have made significant accomplishments within a business environment across all industry sectors.
A nominee’s achievements can span an entire career or can be a single outstanding accomplishment, with outcomes that not only advanced the performance of her or his organization but also developed an internal company culture.
It seeks to recognise both established and emerging commercial leaders, all of whom should have been able to demonstrate leadership ability, a flair for her or his field, and a passion for business social responsibility.
Australia China Alumni Award for Research & Innovation
This Award recognises alumni who have contributed to the development of research and science which has made a significant impact on the Australia-China community.
All nominees are expected to have advanced current knowledge in a particular field, through significant research or innovation in an academic, corporate or technological setting.
A nominee’s achievements can span all fields of study and work (for example, sciences, technology, medicine, or academic research).
Young Australia China Alumni of the Year Award
This Award is open to all alumni who are not yet 35 years old and are involved in fields of employment, community service or voluntary work.
All nominees should demonstrate integrity, initiative and innovation and be on a fast trajectory to leadership in their field.
This Award recognises the achievements of our young alumni and celebrates their outstanding talent, accomplishments, and the contributions they have made to the wider Australia-China community.
Australia China Alumni Award for the Arts and Creativity
This Award recognises alumni who have achieved excellence in the Arts and Creative sectors and/or whose efforts promote the understanding and value of artistic and creative endeavours.
It seeks to recognize creativity and success in one or more of a variety of fields, including art and design, architecture, fashion design, literature, music, performing arts, advertising, publishing and the creative media.
A nominee should have a demonstrated ability to use their creative skills in new and innovative ways, perhaps by working across creative mediums, combining or introducing new concepts into the field, and/or introducing creative concepts into new/unique markets.
Australia China Alumni Member's Choice Award
The Australia China Alumni Member's Choice Award is a special recognition bestowed upon an alum who has been selected by their peers for their exceptional contributions and impact within the alumni community. This award celebrates the individual who has consistently gone above and beyond to support and uplift fellow alumni, embodying the spirit of camaraderie and collaboration. The recipient of this award is someone who has inspired others through their actions, leadership, and dedication to fostering strong connections within the Australia-China alumni network.
Australia China Alumni Enterprises of the Year
The Australia China Alumni Enterprises of the Year Award honors alumni-led businesses or initiatives that have demonstrated outstanding success, innovation, and impact within the Australia-China context. This award recognizes enterprises that have shown exceptional growth, sustainability, and a commitment to fostering positive relations between Australia and China through their work. Whether through groundbreaking partnerships, innovative business models, or transformative solutions, the recipient of this award exemplifies the spirit of entrepreneurship, collaboration, and excellence in the global market.
Australia China Alumni Award for Life Science
The Australia China Alumni Award for Life Science recognizes alumni who have made significant contributions to the field of life sciences through their research, innovations, or leadership. This award celebrates individuals who have demonstrated excellence in areas such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or biomedical research, and whose work has had a tangible impact on society and the advancement of scientific knowledge. The recipient of this award is someone who embodies the spirit of discovery, dedication, and excellence in the pursuit of improving health outcomes and advancing the frontiers of life science.
Study Queensland Alumni Award
This Award recognizes the significant achievements of Queensland educated alumni in China. This Award celebrates all-round distinction in work, life and community service and aims to recognize an alumna/alumnus who has demonstrated excellence in her/his professional career and/or charitable activities, has supported to strengthen the Australia-China relationship and has potentials to influence and inspire others.
Study Queensland is the State Government organization dedicated to promoting Queensland as a premier study destination and a preferred partner for education, training, research and innovation.
