Research Officer

The Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre (AUSTRAC) is a Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) and regulator with supervision and enforcement responsibilities under Australia's anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing legislation. We work in partnership with other government agencies and industry to keep Australia safe from financial and other serious crimes, and to build and maintain trust in Australia's financial system.


Under general direction, the research officer undertakes research tasks, translates and interprets between English and Chinese, and provides office administration support to the Counsellor (Financial). This role will suit a motivated and curious person who enjoys talking to people, collecting information and solving problems. Some domestic travel may be required.
