The Shanghai Branch of the Australia China Alumni Association (ACAA) was launched on 30 July 2008. The Shanghai Branch is a vibrant and rapidly growing arm of the ACAA and is hosting the 2010 Australia China Alumni Awards. Shanghai Branch Staff
Ms Sherry Xu, Director of Development, Shanghai joined the ACAA team in February 2011. Sherry was born in China and lived in Australia for three years before she returned to her home country in 2008. She graduated from Monash University's Caulfield campus with a Masters degree in Marketing. She has worked in management and marketing roles in sectors as diverse as fast-moving-consumer-goods (FMCG), telecommunications, and event management in both Australia and China. Recently, Sherry has worked on the Brisbane - Ambassador's for Life project and as a lecturer in marketing and management for the Monash College China Program. Her professional skills include event planning, branding, marketing research, trade show management and e-commerce strategy and development. Sherry can be contacted at sherry.xu@AustChinaAlumni.org.
