The 2011 ACAA / CPA Australia, Australia China Alumni of the Year Awards were for the 3rd time successfully held on November 12, 2011. Having in 2009 been held in Beijing and then in 2010 in Shanghai, the 2011 awards returned to the Northern Capital for an award and entertainment filled night
After receiving just over 100 highly qualified nominations from across China, the difficult task of choosing the finalists and winners was placed in the hands of the independent 2011 judging panel. After long deliberation and some debated opinions, the winners of the 9 awards were finally unanimously decided upon.
Of the highly talented and noteworthy finalists, a vast majority joined other parts of the China based community to achieve a reception of 180+ attendees to the awards held at the 5 star Beijing Marriott, North East.
Amongst performances from one of China’s most famous sand artists and a China based Australian piano talent were the presentation of the 9 awards. All the winners, including bios, universities and more, can now be found online here.
