ACAA attends historic Sino-Australian water-conservation conference in Henan Province The two water catchments share similar challenges in the face of diminishing water resources and the conference provided a unique opportunity for experts to share their views. After the formalities, Amanda spoke at an alumni reception for YRCC staff who have studied in Australia on AusAID fellowships, many of them at ACAA partner universities the University of South Australia and the University of Queensland. The conference was a great opportunity for ACAA to meet with this group of alumni and also further our engagement with provincial cities across China. By Jason Li, ACAA Director of Development, South China Four ACAA members in Guangzhou received complimentary tickets valued at CNY 680 each, to enjoy a performance by Sydney Symphony Orchestra on 24th October 2009. This programme was run on a first-come first-served basis, and these four members were the lucky ones to secure seats at this special concert. Special offers such as this are a privilage for ACAA members, and we’d like to encourage all alumni to become ACAA members, and benefit from more special offers in the future!
